This group is designed for anyone wanting to overcome social anxiety, learn skills for making new connections, or improve relationships. The group provides a space to work with others toward these goals. Our primary objectives will be to learn about anxiety and its effects on the brain and body, challenge our thinking, and practice new skills.
What the Group Covers
The group is structured and skills-based. Topics include identifying and challenging the anxious thinking patterns that drive social fear, understanding how avoidance maintains anxiety over time, building graduated exposure hierarchies, and practicing social situations in a supported, boundaried setting. Members work on both shared themes and their own specific triggers.
Groups are kept small to allow for genuine engagement. Contact us for current scheduling, availability, and enrollment information. Most major insurance plans are accepted.
