Group therapy offers something individual therapy can’t fully replicate: the experience of working through your challenges alongside people who genuinely understand what you’re going through, not because they’ve read about it, but because they’re living it too.
The group format isn’t just a more affordable option. For certain conditions, particularly social anxiety and interpersonal patterns, it’s often more effective than individual work alone, because the group itself becomes part of the treatment.
Is Group Therapy Right for You?
Group therapy works well for social anxiety, depression, grief, interpersonal difficulties, and general skill-building. It’s not the right fit for everyone. Those in active crisis, in early stages of trauma treatment, or with presentations that need more individual privacy may do better starting in individual sessions. Your therapist can help you think through what makes the most sense.
Current Groups
Social Anxiety Therapy Group
This group helps anyone looking to overcome social anxiety, learn new skills for building relationships, or improve how you handle social situations. The group provides a space to work with others and share experiences. Our primary objective is to better understand anxiety and its effects on the brain and body, challenge our thinking, and practice new skills.
We add groups based on client need and therapist capacity. If you’re interested in a specific group format, contact us and we’ll let you know what’s coming up.
